KITESURFING LOCATION

Kitesurf Cyprus is a mobile school which means that we can take you to the best beach for the conditions on the day.

Most of the kite beaches are situated on the south coast of Cyprus close to Pissouri. They are beautiful, uncrowded, untouched, long stretches of beach.

During the summer months (May - Oct) we get great conditions for all levels of kiting. Most afternoons sea breezes kick in providing perfect consistent cross-onshore winds.

In the winter months most of the teaching takes place closer to Limassol. At this time of year we get more onshore winds so small waves to play on too!

 

 

PLACES TO STAY

  

 www.kotzias.net - This is one of the preferred accomodation options for most of our kiters

as it's in Pissouri Bay, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Also it's just round the

 corner from us so is an easy place to meet up to make arrangements for the day.

Sometimes you can get good deals for this accomodation including flights from the UK 

through Olympic holidays. 

 

www.pissouriana.com - Pissouri Village. Overlooking some of the most breathtaking

scenery in Cyprus. One of the best options if you want to be close to the village square for

nights out.

 

www.hillview.com.cy - A family run hotel at the highest point of Pissouri Village. Recently

refurbished rooms and by far the best food in the village!

 

www.columbia-hotels.com - A stunning 4* Hotel and 5* Resort right on the beach in the

picturesque bay of Pissouri. Perfect for those seeking a little luxury after a hard days

kiting. Also the best place for all other watersports with Yiannos at Columbia Watersports.

accomodation at two resorts in Pissouri Bay.

FLIGHTS

 

We reccommend that you try to get a flight into Paphos Airport as it's only a 30

minute drive to Pissouri. However, Larnaca is only an hours drive if you find a good

deal to there.

CAR HIRE

 

Hiring a car online before you arrive is by far the cheapest option.

One of 100's to try is www.easycar.com . Arrange to pick it up at the airport as taxis are

an absolute rip-off (50euros one-way to Pissouri!). Driving in Cyprus is pretty easy as it's

on the left, English signposts and just one main motorway!
